Gas Leaks on Nord Stream 1 Pipeline is Russia’s Terrorist Attack – Podolyak

Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak believes an incident with gas leaks on the Nord Stream 1 pipeline is nothing but Russia’s act of aggression against the European Union.

The relevant statement was made by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“ ‘Gas leak’ from NS-1 is nothing more that a terrorist attack planned by Russia and an act of aggression towards EU. Russia wants to destabilize economic situation in Europe and cause pre-winter panic. The best response and security investment – tanks for Ukraine. Especially German ones…,” Podolyak wrote.

A reminder that, on the night of September 26, 2022, a grid operator reported a sharp drop in pressure in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Gas leaks were detected in both strings of the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, namely in Denmark’s Exclusive Economic Zone and north-east of the island of Bornholm.
