RFE/RL: Archaeologists find remains of an 18th century Cossack encampment on Khortytsia

This year’s archaeological digs have been rich in discoveries for the Khortytsia National Reserve. For the first time in more than 20 years, archaeologists discovered an intact grave of a Scythian warrior, and not long ago, they unearthed the remains of a Cossack cantonment (temporary military or winter encampment).
