“During the fights on the territory of Donetsk airport, terrorist forces blew
up its runway. Fighting for the airport continues,” reads a statement posted on
the ministry’s website on Jan. 20 evening.
The Ukrainian government forces fighting at Donetsk airport have received
additional reserves and ammunition, the ministry said.
