President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged this in an interview with a Ukrainian journalists shown on Tuesday, April 5, as part of the all-Ukrainian telethon.

According to Zelensky, even after the tragic events in Bucha, it is necessary to continue negotiations with the Russian Federation:

“Just to say, let’s not talk about anything today – that’s the easiest position. The most difficult thing is to say what they did, recognize them as an enemy, and at the same time, find an opportunity to meet, find a way out from such a meeting, and at the same time, not lose territory.”
