The delegation’s mission, according to the prime minister, is to secure concrete agreements that strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities and resilience while expanding economic cooperation with international partners.
Kyiv expects to sign a number of important agreements during the conference, including deals aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s energy sector.
The conference comes as Ukraine continues to repair and defend critical infrastructure damaged by repeated Russian missile and drone attacks. Energy resilience remains one of Kyiv’s top priorities as Moscow continues targeting power generation, transmission systems and other civilian infrastructure.
Svyrydenko described the Gdańsk agenda as packed with meetings and events at every level, aimed at strengthening Ukraine, Poland, international partners and Europe as a whole.
“Ukraine is committed to constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation in the interests of shared European security, economic growth, and long-term prosperity,” she wrote.
