According to the SBU, the alleged agent gathered information about local officials and military personnel, especially about their trips to Russia and occupied parts of Donbas, as well as information on their families and property.

Russia’s officers planned to use this information to entice these people to Russia or occupied parts of Donbas and recruit them as agents.

The arrested suspect was allegedly paid in rubles through his bank card.
