Austrian-American actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will headline Olerom Forum One in Kyiv on Oct. 13.
Olerom Forum One is an annual business event that has been held in Ukraine’s capital since 2015.
This year, the forum will focus on the cooperation of humans and technologies and is expected to attract 7,000 attendees.
Apart from Schwarzenegger, internationally famous robot Sophia for showcasing artificial intelligence will join the event in Kyiv.
Olerom Forum One annually brings successful people from various fields to share their experience and knowledge. Previous forums featured Apple’s Steve Wozniak, British billionaire Richard Branson and Australian motivational speaker Nick Vujicic.
This year, the forum invited Schwarzenegger to headline the event.
Schwarzenegger, 71, came into the spotlight back when he was a professional bodybuilder and powerlifter. The athlete holds the record that he broke in 1970 when he became the youngest greatest bodybuilder by winning the prestigious international competition Mr. Olympia at the age of 23.
After Schwarzenegger shifted to acting, he reached for the stars in the new field and soon became acknowledged. He is best known for the role of Terminator in the science-fiction film “The Terminator.”
Apart from that, Schwarzenegger served two terms as the Governor of California in 2003-2011.
At the Olerom Forum One, Schwarzenegger will give a motivational speech.
“Not just an idol, an example for many people: a great athlete, politician, businessman,” the forum’s website reads.
As this year’s event focuses on modern technologies and the possibilities they provide, the event’s lineup also features humanoid robot Sophia that uses artificial intelligence. Since the robot was activated in 2015, she has made appearances at many technical conferences and TV shows around the globe and was granted Saudi Arabian citizenship.
At the forum, Sophia will join the panel, where she will discuss modern technologies and issues with a moderator.
Apart from that, the co-founder of Wikipedia Jimmy Wales, marketing expert Martin Lindstrom, networking expert Keith Ferrazzi, leadership and effective management coach Tim Kelly and other guests that are yet to be announced will give speeches at the Olerom Forum One.
The one-day event offers five kinds of tickets that provide different service and access and cost from Hr 2,464 to 79,712 if bought before Oct. 10.
