Russian forces carried out a devastating aerial bombardment of central Kramatorsk on Saturday morning, April 11, injuring 10 civilians, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.
At approximately 9:45 a.m., the Russian military dropped four FAB-250 bombs equipped with UMPK guidance modules on the city’s residential center. The victims include four women and six men, ranging in age from 29 to 89. According to local authorities, two of the wounded are currently in aserious condition with shrapnel injuries and traumatic brain injuries.

The strike caused significant damage to several apartment buildings and civilian vehicles. Oleksandr Honcharenko, head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration, confirmed the scale of the attack as rescue teams continued to assess the final toll.
The wave of morning strikes comes during the countdown to a unilateral ceasefire decreed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, set to begin at 4 p.m. Saturday for the Orthodox Easter holiday. Kramatorsk is just the latest city targeted in a series of attacks across Ukraine this morning, following deadly drone strikes in the Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions that killed three civilians.
Kyiv remains deeply skeptical of Moscow’s “holiday silence” after a night and morning marked by relentless bombardment. The Ukrainian Air Force reported 160 drones launched nationwide overnight, with fresh strikes on public transport and residential blocks continuing right up to the ceasefire deadline.
