A Ukrainian defense adviser has shared images of his destroyed home following a Russian drone strike, saying the attack left him injured and displaced.

Serhii Beskrestnov, also known as “Flash,” said in a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 21, that the strike destroyed his house and all his belongings accumulated over two decades.

“Everything I built over 20 years is gone in an instant – no home, no cars, no possessions,” he wrote, adding that he is currently immobilized with injuries.

Beskrestnov said he had previously considered the possibility of being personally targeted, but did not expect an attack of such scale on his family home.

“I could believe in an attempt on my life… but I could never have imagined the enemy would send multiple jet-powered drones at a civilian house to kill everyone,” he said.

He did not provide details on the location of the strike.

Ukrainian officials have not independently confirmed whether the adviser was specifically targeted.

On Monday, Beskrestnov said he was injured after a Russian drone struck his home during a mass overnight attack.

“Tonight the Russians tried to kill me. They launched four jet-powered Shahed drones at me. One of them hit the wall of my house. I no longer have a home,” Beskrestnov wrote, adding that he survived with minor injuries.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched 142 drones overnight, including Shahed-type UAVs, with air defenses downing or suppressing 113 of them.

How’s Russia Reacting to Zelensky’s Letter to Putin and Peace Talk Offer?

Russian officials have been quiet on what they thought of Zelensky’s peace offer, but unofficial commentaries either mocked the letter or rejected the idea of peace talks from Kyiv – accusing Kyiv of not wanting peace or asking why Kyiv would want peace if it’s winning.

Strikes and falling debris were recorded across multiple territories, including the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions.

Officials reported damage to residential buildings, infrastructure and vehicles, as well as civilian injuries in several areas.
