Ukrainian headwear designer Ruslan Baginskiy has been a star far beyond Ukraine for a while. So it was no surprise when his latest creation became an instant hit winning the hearts of a number of celebrities, including U.S. Grammy-winning singer Alicia Keys.

Baginskiy’s latest headwear, a piercing boater hat made of black felt, is an elegant accessory adorned with golden chains and pins.

Keys picked the hat for the Billboard’s Women in Music Impact Brunch, which took place on Dec. 12 in Los Angeles. The singer paired it with a navy singlet and a pair of striped wide-leg trousers.

“This girl is on fire,” Baginskiy’s Instagram post reads, referring to one of the biggest Keys’ hits.
