Tanu Muiño, a Ukrainian music video director of Cuban origin, directed a new music video for Rosalia, a Spanish singer-songwriter known for her interpretations of flamenco music.

The video for Rosalia’s latest single “Juro Que” (“I Swear That”), released in 2020, was posted on YouTube on Jan. 24.

“When you collaborate with one of your favorite artists it’s incredible. Dreams come true!” Muiño wrote on Instagram, posting a short clip from the “Juro Que” video.

Muiño, who lives in Odesa, a Black Sea port city of 1 million people some 500 kilometers south of Kyiv, is from a mixed Cuban-Ukrainian family. When she was 6-years-old, her family moved from Cuba to Ukraine.

The music video “Juro Que” focuses on a romantic story. Rosalia plays the role of a woman whose boyfriend was arrested but she swears she won’t leave him.
