Deputy prime minister Iryna Vereshchuk has called on Russia to provide full details of the Ukrainian children who have been seized by the Russian invaders.
"I publicly address Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova and Russian Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova. I suggest that they should immediately provide the Ukrainian side with the lists of all orphans and children deprived of parental care, who were citizens of Ukraine aged up to and including 18 years old on Feb. 24, 2022," Vereshchuk posted on Telegram.
She also called on Moskalkova and Lvova-Belova to immediately submit to the Ukrainian side the lists of all orphans and children deprived of parental care, who are currently in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, as well as those who were taken to Russian territory.
As reported, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets stated that there might be about 150,000 illegally deported Ukrainian children in the territory of Russia. As of Feb. 16, there are 16,207 officially verified such children on the territory of the Russian Federation.
