Russian forces struck four districts of Dnipropetrovsk region more than 40 times in a single day, injuring two people.

The attacks hit Dnipro, Nikopol, Synelnykove and Pavlohrad districts on Wednesday, July 1, using a combination of drones and artillery, Regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha said in a Telegram post.

The strikes damaged an agricultural enterprise, vehicles and farming equipment, sparking multiple fires across the affected area, regional authorities reported.

Nikopol, Synelnykove, Pavlohrad districts also hit

In the Nikopol district, the communities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske and Myrove came under fire, with a dormitory, local infrastructure and private homes sustaining damage.

Nikopol district is one of the hardest-hit areas in the Dnipropetrovsk region, repeatedly targeted by Russian drone and missile strikes.

The bombardment prompted Hanzha to convene an emergency Defense Council to strengthen evacuations and reinforce defenses across the region in June.
