Zelensky Dismisses Heads of SBU Departments in Kyiv and Three Oblasts

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed the heads of the Security Service departments in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Ternopil and Lviv regions.

The corresponding decrees were published on  the website of the head of state , reports Ukrinform.

Thus, by decree No. 575/2022, Artem Bondarenko was dismissed from the position of head of the SBU Directorate in Lviv region, and by decree No. 578/2022 he was appointed head of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv and Kyiv region.

By decree No. 576/2022, the President dismissed Serhiy Zayats from the post of head of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv and Kyiv region, and by decree No. 577/2022 – Yuriy Boreychuk from the post of head of the SBU in Ternopil Oblast.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 19, the Verkhovna Rada  dismissed  Bakanov from the post of head of the SBU.
