Photos released by SES showed firefighters battling blazes in gutted homes and a charred auto service station.
Authorities said the strikes involved guided aerial bombs, along with ballistic and cruise missiles. Fires engulfed three residential houses covering more than 350 square meters, two trucks in a parking lot, and a service station spanning 600 square meters.
The head of Zaporizhzhia’s regional administration warned residents during a two-hour air raid alert late Monday of possible attacks with guided bombs and cruise or ballistic missiles.
Elsewhere, a series of explosions rocked the northern city of Sumy around 2:30 a.m., temporarily knocking out electricity in parts of the city. Governor Oleh Hryhorov later said Russian drones struck twice overnight, hitting non-residential areas.
A logistics hub of the Epicenter home improvement chain in the Kyiv region caught fire during a morning drone attack by Russian forces, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported. No casualties have been reported.

Local sources said the fire was severe, prompting the use of helicopters to help extinguish it. The site may have initially been targeted via a nearby parking lot, which caught fire twice during the night.
Officials reported that a second strike hit the site just as rescuers were putting out the first blaze, damaging two emergency service vehicles.
Ukraine’s emergency services stated that rescue operations continued through the night as Russia intensified its use of drones, missiles and glide bombs against civilian areas.
