Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) Servicemembers of the 5th Assault Battalion, 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, detected a group of Russian soldiers who were moving toward their positions on horseback, and published video footage with commentary on the 92nd Brigade Facebook page.
“Russian occupiers are losing equipment so quickly during their ‘meat assaults’ that they are forced to move on horseback. But even this does not help them – drone operators of the 5th Assault Battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade ‘neutralize’ the enemy as soon as they see a target,” the statement says.

With the Ukrainian positions defended by drones, the riders were killed in their attack.
The Ukrainian narrator reacts to this unambiguously – this is a sign that the Russian army is running out of solutions on how to overcome the kill zone on the way to Ukrainian positions.
“Cavalry assaulting our positions. This is insane! I thought it was a joke and another round of AI experiments, but no – in a closed pilots’ group, they are already discussing and confirming such facts. The horses are a pity. Definitely. The video shows an FPV hit on one of the black riders together with his horse,” writes an AFU servicemember and civic activist, Mykola Voroshnov.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that due to a shortage of equipment, the Russian ground troops are using donkeys for transportation and logistics.
