Initial reports listed four wounded: a 13-year-old boy and three men aged 43, 44 and 79. Officials said they would receive outpatient treatment.
The regional prosecutor’s office later said the number of wounded had risen to seven and reported damage to an apartment building, an administrative building and an enterprise.
By late evening, Hanzha said the number of injured had increased to 12. A 75-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition, while the other victims received necessary medical assistance.
Pavlohrad, a city in the Dnipropetrovsk region, has repeatedly come under Russian strikes as Moscow continues to target Ukrainian cities far from the front line with drones, missiles and artillery.
