A new era of air defence has begun in Ukraine. German IRIS-T air defence systems are already in the country.
“This is only the beginning. And we need more. No doubt that Russia is a terrorist state. There is a moral imperative to protect the sky over Ukraine in order to save our people,” Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov posted on Twitter on Oct. 11.
He added that US-Norwegian NASAMS air defence systems were coming to Ukraine.
