“Russian terrorists have killed another resident of Kherson,” Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said in a statement. “About an hour ago, as a result of an enemy drone attack on the Korabelnyi district of the city, a 75-year-old man sustained injuries incompatible with life.”
A city under daily terror
Kherson, which was liberated by Ukrainian forces in November 2022, remains under near-constant Russian fire from the occupied eastern bank of the Dnipro River.
Russian troops have repeatedly targeted residential neighborhoods, roads, public transport, medical vehicles and civilians moving through the city. Local authorities regularly report casualties from artillery, aerial bombs and FPV drone attacks.
Earlier attacks the same day
The fatal strike came after several Russian attacks on Kherson earlier on Thursday.
In the morning, Russian forces attacked the same Korabelnyi district with a drone, hitting a residential building and injuring a 12-year-old boy.
Later in the day, Russian troops struck an ambulance on the grounds of a hospital in the city’s Dniprovskyi district, injuring three medical workers.

The attacks add to the growing toll on civilians in Kherson, where daily Russian strikes have turned ordinary streets, courtyards and homes into front-line targets.
