Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of Poland, believes that Ukraine’s war is not its own tragedy. Ukrainians are now defending European freedom, he stated at the 17th meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES).

“Ukraine is now fighting for European freedom. This is the future of the free world. All European countries should understand this – our Italian partners, German, French, and other nations – because sometimes they tend to have a different opinion,” says Morawiecki.

The politician is sure that a new image of Europe will appear after Ukraine’s victory, which will be a turning point in the geopolitical moment not only in European history but also in world history.

Therefore, Poland will continue to help Ukraine in the diplomatic arena and convince the free world countries that military and financial support are critical for the Ukrainian nation to survive and win.
