Russian forces launched 138 Shahed strike UAVs and decoy drones of various types against Ukraine from 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, to Monday morning, June 16, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The main direction of the strike was the Donetsk region, as per the report, shared via Telegram.

As of 8 a.m., air defenses had neutralized 125 Russian UAVs across the north, east, south, and center of Ukraine. Of these, 84 were shot down by fire, while 41 were suppressed or lost due to electronic warfare.

However, impacts were recorded in 10 locations, and drone debris fell in eight others.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, responded to the attack, saying:

“The Russians lie about everything. When they claim to have hit military targets, they are aiming at our homes and our people. This is a deliberate tactic of terror.”

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said two people were injured in the overnight attack. One was hospitalized in serious condition, and a woman initially hospitalized was later treated as an outpatient.
