Russian forces struck a 14-story residential building in Dnipro with drones on the morning of Tuesday, March 24, causing injuries.
Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration (OVA), said in a Telegram post at 10:31 a.m. that the attack damaged the high-rise building, with information on casualties initially being clarified.

He later added that a fire had broken out in the building and that the attack on the city was ongoing.
According to Ganzha, the strike damaged the walls, balconies, windows, and technical floor, with fires reported on the two upper floors. Emergency services are working at the scene.
“Three people were injured in the enemy attack on Dnipro. Medics are providing them with the necessary assistance,” he said in the latest Telegram report, adding that the strike targeted a residential area.
Ganzha then added that two of the injured were hospitalized in critical condition - a 67-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man. They sustained shrapnel wounds, lacerations, and traumatic brain injuries.
In an update at 12:21 p.m., Ganzha said that nine people had been injured in the morning Russian attack on Dnipro, including a 1.5-year-old boy.
“The child has been hospitalized. Doctors assess his condition as stable,” the report said.

Eight apartment buildings and two kindergartens were damaged in the city as a result of the strike.
Later, the head of the OVA said the number of injured had risen to 13.
According to him, three children were among the injured - a 12-year-old girl, a 9-year-old girl, and a 1.5-year-old boy. They will receive outpatient treatment.
Three people remain hospitalized, two of them in critical condition.
Meanwhile, monitoring Telegram channels reported that, as of 11:20 a.m., Russian forces had launched around 200 Shahed drones across Ukraine.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said recovery efforts were underway following a massive overnight Russian attack on multiple regions.
“In Zaporizhzhia and Poltava, ordinary high-rise buildings were damaged, and fires broke out. Nearly 40 drones were launched at Shostka in the Sumy region. In Slatyne, Kharkiv region, a drone hit an electric train,” Zelenskyy wrote.
According to him, damage was recorded in 11 regions, with at least four people confirmed dead.
“My condolences to the families and loved ones. Dozens more were injured, including children,” he added.
According to the Air Force, Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with more than 390 strike drones and 34 missiles of various types, including ballistic, cruise, and guided air-launched missiles.
