Russian Shahed drones attacked the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv overnight and in the early hours of Saturday, injuring two people and leaving a child in need of medical assistance, regional officials said.

Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said a 44-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were wounded in the attack and hospitalized.

A 10-year-old boy suffered an acute stress reaction, Kim wrote on Telegram.

The strike also damaged a private home, according to regional authorities.

The latest attack followed another overnight Russian drone strike on Mykolaiv, which wounded four people, according to Ukrinform.

Mykolaiv, located near Ukraine’s southern Black Sea coast, has repeatedly come under Russian drone and missile attacks throughout Moscow’s full-scale invasion.
