A Russian airstrike on a residential neighborhood in Sloviansk, in the eastern Donetsk region, wounded at least 14 people and damaged seven five-story apartment buildings.
Russian armed forces dropped two aerial bombs on the city throughout the afternoon, striking a residential area, Donetsk regional governor Vadym Filashkin reported, confirming that 10 people aged between 36 and 82 had been injured. He later announced that the number of people injured in the attack had risen to 14.

“The victims received necessary medical care,” Filashkin said, adding that “Russian forces once again deliberately struck residential neighborhoods.”
“They are hunting civilians and trying to turn ordinary life into constant fear,” he added.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) confirmed that a Russian aircraft struck an apartment complex, causing three fires to break out across a total area of about 630 square meters (6,781 square feet).
Two five-story buildings and several garages reportedly caught fire, while emergency crews extinguished the flames on two balconies and in the garages, containing another blaze.
Due to the renewed threat of shelling, crews were forced to suspend recovery operations.
Russian forces continue striking Sloviansk with guided bombs
On July 13, Russian forces executed a similar mid-morning airstrike on the central district of Sloviansk, deploying three highly destructive guided aerial bombs (KABs).

The bombardment damaged 23 high-rise residential buildings, an educational institution, and multiple passenger vehicles, marking a violent continuation of Russia’s weekend aerial campaign across Ukraine.
Just two days prior, Russian forces carried out another wave of attacks across eastern Ukraine, focusing on the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
According to Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, the city was struck by three FAB-250 guided aerial bombs at approximately 10:00 a.m. local time. The heavy munitions caused widespread destruction in the densely populated area, killing a 67-year-old man and injuring three others while damaging dozens of buildings.
