Rumours about the couple’s possible engagement have risen several times in recent years, but have always been shooed away by either Panettiere herself or her relatives. But when the actress, known for starring in Nashville and Heroes TV series, appeared on the Live with Kelly and Michael show on Oct. 9, she sported a huge diamond on her ring finger that left little doubt.
“Does that signify anything?” the host asked, and Panettiere smiled and responded with, “It might be, it might be.” She then accepted congratulations from both hosts.
There is no date set yet for the wedding, because her schedule is too busy, Panettiere said.
The engagement was announced just four days after Klitschko’s latest fight with Russian boxer Alexander Povetkin in Moscow, which Klitschko won by decision.
