Alexander Vindman, a retired United States Army lieutenant colonel talks about US policy and the ongoing war in Ukraine. Vindman, a naturalized US citizen born in Kyiv, and a career officer, served in the Army infantry and received a Purple Heart medal for wounds he received from an IED attack in the Iraq War in 2004. In October 2019 he testified to Congress about President Donald Trump’s attempts to influence US foreign policy with false narratives about Ukraine.
