So who did this pastor persecute since he joined the military? I bet he did it for their (orthodox) faith!
I find it quite ironic how communism tried to destroy the RuZZian Orthodox religion but Putler found it was better to have the #russiaTerroristState "own" the religion's administration and use it to control those who need their religious beliefs. Religion is just a money making business which is how Kirill built his wealth to dollar billionaire status. #russiaTerroristState (Putler) provides it protection and allows the religion to operate for a cut of their massive income and has the pious and faux priests spew out the #russiaTerroristState propaganda to their flock to swallow.
This is a WIN/WIN for corrupt state and church priests. The priests become rich with government backing and the #russiaTerroristState has a powerful propaganda mouthpiece that they can use to push the people to follow what their tsar wants. The sheeple follow what their corrupt priests tell them what the tsar has instructed them to tell the people. Religious people are so easily swayed and will do what the "voices" of their mythical god tells them even if it costs them everything they have including their lives.
