While doing agricultural work in a field near Kharkiv, a tractor was killed after his vehicle drove over an IED.
This was reported on Telegram by the press service of the State Emergency Service’s local office, Ukrinform saw.
“On July 24, at 11:24, the Emergency Service received a report that a tractor blew up on an IED in a field on the outskirts of Kharkiv during agricultural work. As a result of the explosion, a tractor driver, male, born in 1982, died on the spot, while his vehicle caught fire,” the official statement reads.
The State Emergency Service noted that part of the fields, forest areas, and other land plots remain unsurveyed due to the ongoing hostilities in the region.
As reported, targets of Russian strikes include Ukraine’s agricultural lands, which testifies to Russia’s intentions to create and deepen a global food crisis.
