In the Bakhmut direction, the Russians saw no success in their latest assault attempt to seize the Vuhlehirsk Thermal Power Plant.

That’s according to a war update as of 6:00 on Thursday, delivered by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as seen by Ukrinform.

There are no signs of enemy offensive groups being created in the Volyn and Polissya directions.

In the Siverrsky direction, enemy UAVs pursue aerial reconnaissance efforts in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy barrel and jet artillery shelled the areas of Mospanove, Petrivka, Ruski Tyshki, Bazaliivka, Pechenygi, Tsyrkuny, Pytomnyk, Dementiivka, Korobochkine, and Prudyanka settlements.

In the Sloviansk direction, enemy fire was recorded near Dibrovny, Krasnopill, Chepil, Adamivka, Hrushuvaha, and other settlements.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian artillery shelled the Kramatorsk, Siversk, Hryhorivka, Zvanivka, and Spirny districts. The enemy is running assault operations near Ivano-Daryivka, where firefights continue.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy is conducting combat operations with the aim of creating conditions for an offensive on the city and the takeover of the Vuhlehirsk TPP. The Russians keep shelling military and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Rozdolivka, Bilohorivka, Pokrovske, Nova Kamianka, Bakhmut, Vershyna, Novoluhanske, Zaitseve, Toretsk, and others. Airstrikes were recorded in the villages of Vershyna and Bilohorivka.

Ukraine is gaining the upper hand across multiple fronts. Its middle-strike drone campaign is systematically dismantling Crimea’s logistics routes, severing key causeways and crippling supply lines. Long-range strikes hit deep into Russia, including a significant blow to a military electronics plant in Cheboksary. Ukrainian drones now outnumber Russia’s, and by most counts, Ukraine is launching more guided weapons into Russian-controlled territory than vice versa – a remarkable position for a country one-fifth the size of Russia.

The enemy assault effort aiming to seize the territory of the Vuhlehirsk TPP saw no success as Ukrainian soldiers forced the occupiers to flee. Fighting continues in the Novoluhansk district. In order to locate the firing positions of Ukraine’s forces in certain directions, the enemy employed subversive and reconnaissance groups.

In the Avdiyivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhia directions, the systematically shelled civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Vesele, Umanske, Kurakhove, Novomykhailivka, Mykilske, Vuhledar, Zolota Niva, Novopil, Novomayorske, Poltavka, Chervone, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriyivka, and other settlements. Airstrikes were reported near Krasnohorivka and Solodke. In certain areas, the enemy forces are fortifying their defensive positions.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on holding gained ground and conducting UAV reconnaissance.

The enemy systematically shelled civilian infrastructure along the contact line in the areas of Apostolove, Mykolaivka, Lepetikha, Chervona Dolyna, Murakhivka, Blagodatne, Prybuzke, and Lymany, using tanks, as well as barrel and jet artillery.

The threat of missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities across the territory of Ukraine prevails.

According to the available intelligence, a trend is growing in Russian army units toward the resignation of servicemen who have signed short-term contracts. Also, most servicemen refuse to extend long-term contracts that have expired.

As reported earlier, in Donetsk region, the invaders are seeking to advance to the Debaltseve-Sloviansk highway, while Ukraine’s forces are holding them back.
