As of June 25, Russia has lost 1,014,650 troops after launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022 – including 950 troops over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). 

Russian casualties in Ukraine surpassed one million on June 16. 

The figures include all troops who are put out of action for some time due to deaths or injuries. 

Russian equipment losses in Ukraine so far

The General Staff, in its daily update, also listed Russia’s total recorded equipment losses as follows:

  • 22,885 armored fighting vehicles (including 10 over the past day)
  • 53,084 vehicles and fuel tanks (including 123 over the past day)
  • 29,569 artillery systems (including 58 over the past day)
  • 42,046 drones (including 131 over the past day)
  • 10,967 tanks (including one over the past day)
  • 1,425 multiple launch rocket systems (including one over the past day)
  • 1,188 anti-aircraft systems
  • 416 airplanes
  • 337 helicopters
  • 28 ships and boats
  • one submarine

The General Staff said it recorded 151 clashes across the front on Tuesday, June 24.
