Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it evacuated 16 Ukrainian citizens from the Middle East to Warsaw on March 11-12 in coordination with Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs amid ongoing hostilities in the region.
The evacuation was carried out under instructions from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, with Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha personally overseeing efforts to protect Ukrainian citizens and organize their return, the ministry said.

Kyiv said it continues to provide assistance to Ukrainians in the Middle East and other regions worldwide.
