Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck two military-industrial facilities in Russia’s Bryansk region, a fuel depot at Belgorod airfield, and railway bridges in occupied Crimea overnight, early on Tuesday morning, July 7, Ukraine’s General Staff said.

The strikes are part of ongoing efforts to degrade Russia’s war-making capability, the military said.

Microelectronics and explosives plants hit in Bryansk

One of the targets was Gruppa Kremniy EL, a leading Russian microelectronics manufacturer based in Bryansk. The plant produces microchips, power semiconductors, and electronic components used in Russian command-and-control systems, communications equipment, electronic warfare systems, and weapons.

The extent of the damage is still being assessed, the General Staff said.

Ukrainian forces also struck the Bryansk Chemical Plant in the town of Seltso in Bryansk region. Four explosions were recorded in the area of the facility, with damage assessment ongoing.

The Bryansk Chemical Plant is a key part of Russia’s military-industrial complex, producing gunpowder, explosives, and rocket fuel components used in ammunition and missiles that Russian forces use to strike Ukrainian territory.

Belgorod airfield fuel depot targeted

Ukrainian forces also hit a fuel depot at Belgorod airfield. The extent of the damage is being clarified, the military said.

Crimea rail bridges, Donetsk supply depots struck

Two railway bridges near the settlements of Rozdolne and Ichki in occupied Crimea were also struck. The General Staff said the bridges are used by Russian forces for military logistics, including the transfer of personnel, weapons, and ammunition.
