Ukraine launched overnight drone attacks on multiple regions across Russia, targeting the strategically important Rostov Sea Trade Port and what OSINT analysts identified as a state fuel reserve facility in Russia’s Udmurtia Republic, while also striking the border city of Belgorod.
Analysis of videos published by local residents by independent outlet Astra indicates the main target of the attack was the Rostov Sea Trade Port. Smoke was seen rising from the port’s fourth cargo district on Monday morning following the strike.

One drone also hit a high-rise residential building near the port, while fires broke out at a private enterprise, warehouse facilities and several residential properties, according to Rostov Oblast Governor Yuri Slyusar.
Several vehicles were damaged, and windows were blown out in an apartment building and a social facility. Slyusar said two people were killed and five injured in the attack.
Although located on the Don River, the Rostov Sea Trade Port is part of Russia’s Azov-Black Sea basin and handles international shipping, including foreign-flagged vessels traveling to Black Sea and Mediterranean destinations.
Located in Russia’s Udmurtia republic – 1,300 km (810 miles) from the Ukrainian border – Astra’s OSINT analysis suggests drones targeted the Prioritet facility of Russia’s state reserve agency (Rosrezerv), a heavily guarded strategic fuel storage site previously known as Gorizont.

The closed-access complex, located near the settlement of Borok in the Kambarsky district, serves as a major state oil depot storing emergency reserves of fuel, petroleum products and lubricants intended for wartime or other national emergencies.
Russian daily Kommersant reported that staff at a nearby Wildberries warehouse in the city of Sarapul were evacuated during the attack, although the facility was not damaged.
Earlier, Udmurtia Governor Alexander Brechalov said Russian air defenses were repelling the republic’s “most massive” drone attack in recent months but did not specify which facilities had been targeted. He said there were no casualties.
Ukraine also launched an overnight drone attack on Belgorod, where 12 people, including two children, were injured, according to the regional operational headquarters.
Several apartment buildings, more than 15 vehicles and a private home were damaged. Local outlet Pepel reported the attack also caused an emergency power outage in central Belgorod, disrupting street lighting and water supplies.
Russian authorities said the threat of further drone attacks remained in place.
