‘I Waited Every Single Day’ – Raw Emotions at Ukrainian POWs’ Homecoming

On May 6, another prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia saw 205 Ukrainian defenders return home. Kyiv Post was on the ground to witness the emotional reunions of families after months, even years, of waiting. 

This video features a mother still searching for her son and a soldier who endured 19 months in captivity and electroshock “re-education.” 

While some return to joyful reunions, others are left asking: “Have you seen this man?”
