Russia has launched 108 drones across Ukraine in the early hours of Sunday, May 11, hours after its unilateral three-day truce ended.
Despite the proclaimed truce by Moscow, Ukraine had reported continued strikes – including the use of aerial bombs – across the front, though Moscow had ostensibly avoided long-range drone strikes in that period.

The Ukrainian Air Force said it recorded 108 Russian drones across Ukraine on Sunday morning in its update.
As of 9:30 a.m., Ukraine has downed 60 Shahed drones and another 41 decoy drones were neutralized in the east, north, south and center of the country, it said.
It added that drone launches were recorded in multiple Russian regions bordering Ukraine, as well as occupied areas in Ukraine’s Crimea and Zaporizhzhia region.
Houses in the Kyiv region were damaged by drone debris, injuring one elderly man in his summer house in Brovary, a suburb east of Kyiv, according to Ukrainian outlet Ukrinform.
It added that five private houses in Obukhiv, a city south of Kyiv, were also damaged.
Kyiv has proposed a 30-day unconditional ceasefire in response to Moscow’s three-day truce, which was dismissed by the latter.
On Saturday, Kyiv – backed by the US and other major Western powers – issued an ultimatum for Moscow to comply with a ceasefire starting Monday, May 12. Russian leader Vladimir Putin ignored the demand, instead countering with a proposal for direct talks with Kyiv in Turkey without addressing the ceasefire.
