As of May 30, Russia has lost 986,080 troops after launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022 – including 1,140 troops over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The figures are approximate estimations and include all troops who are put out of action for some time due to deaths or injuries.

Russian equipment losses in Ukraine so far
The General Staff, in its daily update, also listed Russia’s total recorded equipment losses as follows:
- 22,647 armored fighting vehicles (including two over the past day)
- 50,089 vehicles and fuel tanks (including 74 over the past day)
- 28,421 artillery systems (including 35 over the past day)
- 38,070 drones (including 71 over the past day)
- 10,865 tanks (including one over the past day)
- 1,398 multiple launch rocket systems (including one over the past day)
- 1,172 anti-aircraft systems (including one over the past day)
- 372 airplanes
- 336 helicopters
- 28 ships and boats
- one submarine
The General Staff said it recorded 173 clashes across the front on Thursday, May 30.
