As of June 5, Russia has lost 992,750 troops after launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022 – including 930 troops over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The figures are approximate estimations and include all troops who are put out of action for some time due to deaths or injuries.

Russian equipment losses in Ukraine so far
The General Staff, in its daily update, also listed Russia’s total recorded equipment losses as follows:
- 22,680 armored fighting vehicles (including two over the past day)
- 50,812 vehicles and fuel tanks (including 82 over the past day)
- 28,750 artillery systems (including 39 over the past day)
- 39,019 drones (including 95 over the past day)
- 10,887 tanks (including three over the past day)
- 1,406 multiple launch rocket systems (including four over the past day)
- 1,177 anti-aircraft systems (including one over the past day)
- 413 airplanes
- 336 helicopters
- 28 ships and boats
- one submarine
The General Staff said it recorded 169 clashes across the front on Wednesday, June 4.
