Just over half of Poles believe Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky should not make concessions to Russia in pursuit of peace, according to a new poll.
A survey by the IBRiS research institute for the Polish daily Rzeczpospolita found that 50.5% of respondents opposed concessions, while 37.4% supported them.

Asked whether Zelensky should “agree to concessions toward Russia in order to end the war,” 29.3% of Poles answered “definitely not” and 21.2% “rather not.” In contrast, 12.7% said “definitely yes” and 24.7% “rather yes.” Another 12.1% were undecided.
The poll showed sharp political divides. Among voters backing Poland’s pro-European ruling coalition, 77% opposed concessions and 12% supported them.
Opposition supporters were more divided, with 48% in favor of concessions and 36% against.
Among people who do not vote or remain undecided, 57% supported concessions while 41% opposed them.
