Russian missile strikes on the city of Chuhuiv in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region killed three people and injured three others, local officials said.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, said Russian forces struck the city, triggering fires and prompting a response from emergency crews.

According to updated information from Syniehubov, those killed were a 70-year-old man, a 70-year-old woman, and a 56-year-old man.
Chuhuiv Mayor Halyna Minaieva said the city had come under a series of missile strikes in the early hours of Tuesday. She confirmed that, according to preliminary information, three people were killed and three others wounded.
“Firefighting efforts are continuing at the impact sites, and all emergency services are working there,” Minaieva said.
The attack damaged around eight apartment buildings and more than ten private houses, she added.
Syniehubov also reported that a 34-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction following the strike.
Chuhuiv, located in Kharkiv region near the Russian border, has been repeatedly targeted by Russian forces throughout the full-scale invasion.
