In October Kazakhstan offered 117 old Soviet-era combat aircraft for sale by auction and it has now been reported that the US has bought 81 of them through offshore intermediaries.

Ukraine will be much better prepared going into the winter of 23/24 than the last one.

the problem is the USA does not want Ukriane to 'win" this war, only to wear Russian troops down. Americans are slow to decide and even slower to deliver weapons needed to win a war.... No member of the US government will state they want Ukriane to WIN! Germany is not far behind on this topic as well... other Western nations also do not want Ukraine to win, Hungary is in full support of Russia against Ukriane. Orban is working to make Hungary a nation like Belarus.
No western nation would ever launch a counter offensive without air support and yet western nations expect Ukriane to fight with their arms tied behind their backs...
The USA wants Ukraine to negotiate a treaty, which is a lost cause as Russia will never hold to any agreement.
the US forced Ukriane to give up its nuclear weapons on a useless piece of paper, Budapest Memorandum. then the crazy Minsk Accords... AMericans told Ukriane in 2014 not to fight against the Russian invasion...
American goals are very different than Ukrainian goals... and Ukriane must not allow itself to be fooled again by Western nations, else Ukriane will be subjugated once again to Russia. The USA does not support Ukraine's efforts to reclaim Crimea...

Sanctions imposed on Russia allow multinational large corporations to buy cheaper oil from sanctioned nations and sell at a higher rate ...
A neocolonism area to control others economically ...This is what has happened to Iran , Iraq and Venezuela having their oil exports discounted and smuggled at a discounted price for the ultrarich...
Hopefully , Ukraine would help itself make its own weapons reaching peace afterwards...
@GregC, this is ignorant, if the US didn't want Ukraine to win the wouldn't have supplied them with anything.
