Washington Has Not Decided If It Wants Ukraine to Win

If Western politics were ethically based, we would have no hesitation in providing Ukraine with what it needs to win. But we are trapped in the mire of profit-making, and our civilisation is collapsing as a result.

Whitehouse wants to prolong the war bankruppting Russia bringing the Orks to their knees. So they cannot make war!

Ambiguity has been Biden's and NATO's attitude from the beginning. Had NATO, and Biden in particular,demonstrated some courage at the start of the Russian invasion the war would be over by now. Putin gambled successfully on the weakness of the West and the Ukranian people are paying the price.

While I have respect for the US forces, their politics sucks.
To that end, their politics may try to force Ukraine to make a deal with Russia. I can only hope Ukraine won't comply.

I would agree there there are some in the USA that actually do not want Ukraine to win. These people are overwhelmingly in the ranks of what has now become the Republican Fascist Pro Putin party. I never ever would have thought that we have so many Americans that are Americans in the most legal sense but hold no of the traditional values that American has held and fought for. These unamerican Americans are pathetic ignorant fools that have learned nothing from History. Sorry to say it remains to be seen if American can put down the forces of Fascism and we and others did in the second world war. Most Americans support Ukraine and see no other option than for Ukraine to be victorious. Most of us are aware that Ukraine actually stands against what would be further Russian aggression involving other nations. They must be stopped even as we have our own domestic fight against those that would rather see a USA modeled after fascist Russia. Look whom the pals of Russia are and you see nations that rule by force rather then by the will of the people. Dictatorships who are never satisfied with what they have but what to take more from others.

I agree with Gen. Hodges. If we are supporting Ukraine's victory it must be whole hearted. Russia must be kicked out of Ukraine and the Crimea returned to Ukraine and its war criminals punished for the atrocities committed.

Agree 100 % with Jack Griffin. Stop pussyfooting and give Ukraine WHATEVER they need, to expel Russia, or demolish those in Ukraine, whatever option Russia would like !!

How long have I been saying this? Your buddy biden is a double agent and only does what China tells him to do……..Obama and soros also control Biden and their only concern is enriching theirselves with diverted funds from a protracted Ukraine war.

Obviously Ukrainians wish the USA would provide all the support they wish for. That is not going to happen. The USA is broke. The government debt is massive. Yes, I would love to see Ukraine become successful because that would be invaluable for dampening troubles from China and Iran.
What's funny about this article is it is all about the US. What about NATO? That is the organization that has serious political and financial interests in Ukraine's well being, but nary a word.
Until Europe is "all in" for Ukraine, you have no reason to expect complete American cooperation with Ukrainian wishes.

Gen.Hodges is right. The foreign policy of USA et al must be clear: Ukraine's victory over Russia now. Russia's defeat will undermine its terror-making around the globe and bring tin its "predictability". Pres. Biden wanted this & Russia's "stability" two yrs ago but didn't get it--as he was repeatedly told--because Russia doesn't care for words. It will only respond to reality: a defeat in Ukraine! Do it like you did in Afghanistan in 1989. And don't pull out too fast like you did. Win in Ukraine, support its reconstruction, punish Russia and then you can expect greater stability. Right now Russia is running amuck & loving it! Disastrous for the international order and peace. DefeatRussia in Ukraine. Pronto!
