French President Macron's statement that under certain conditions French troops could be sent to Ukraine has sparked controversy. Do you support the idea of European troops being deployed to Ukraine?

I think there should be an intermediary step first. NATO troops should be built up along the Russian border. And NO ONE should promise they won't go into Russia. This would give Putin something to worry about and could draw Russian troops away from Ukraine to Russia's borders. NATO and the US should never have promised to not send troops. That was a strategic error. It gave Russia too much freedom to think they could do what they want.

Yes, I believe European & NATO Troops are necessary in the calculation against Tyrant Putin.
But this is a war situation .. and we don't need to discuss this in public ! As Macron has said
we need to be ambiguous in our statements. In the meantime I would advise the top brass
at NATO to prepare for the unimaginable confrontation with Putin's Russia.
If Ukraine accepts foreign troops then it must be ready to accept the tactics that come with it. In short, we are a offensive army and not interested in long term defensive planning. This is not WW1.

I believe American forces should be included with our European allies.
End of the day it’s the us Tory which counts. If Europe gets hell bent on sending its troops to Ukraine perhaps it’s time for Chinese to take note and send their troops to support Russia so the evils of Europe and Ukraine can be buried right in Ukraine fertile soil. Slava Russia.

Peacekeeping vs. PEACEMAKING; there is a duty some (U.N.) are not stepping up for.
It's not NATO troops that are required it's ammo . Western countries say they do not want to depleat their defence capabilities but while Russia is occupied in Ukraine these countries are not under threat and supplying Ukraine will keep them busy . It's a fact that while Ukraine has sufficient ammunition and defence weapons ie patriots they are capable of defending themselves . We see how the Russians have taken advantage recently . I hope that they will overextend so that when ammo is replenished and the f16s arrive the russian advance will stop .

This is 1939 all over again appeasement and it didn’t work back then and won’t now. Russia needs to be hit back and hard with whatever means are available because other European Countries will be next.

@Philip Ive, absolutely right. Russia's war against Ukraine is unprovoked and unjustified. There are NO EXCUSES for their constant bombing and shelling of civilian residential areas; NO EXCUSES for their illegal annexation of Ukraine's sovereign territory.
Europe should fully support including troops mobilisation in Ukraine. This is the only way to stop maniac Putin grabbing sovereign countries one by one.

The sooner the better. It will be worse for everyone if it’s delayed till after Russia mounts an offensive this summer.
They should be armed to the teeth with weapons that will hurt Russian lines of supply, forcing Russia to discover that this adventure was a disastrous failure and there is no course but withdrawal. A mediocre effort would encourage them to consider a last ditch extreme measure.

the black Sea becoming a new nation or joined to others, and a place where there will never be Russian ships again.
