No murder. No client list. No more information forthcoming.

That is the July 8, 2025, message from Attorney General Pam Bondi concerning the defining conspiracy theory that helped shape the MAGA movement: the alleged murder of billionaire sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein by government assassins to prevent a client list of high-profile globalists and politically elite pedophiles from reaching the light of day.

The White House messaging on Epstein was the equivalent of a political nuclear bomb dropped on propagandists like Tucker Carlson. They had staked much on their conspiracy claims about Epstein and his death –their reputations, their financial kingdoms, and even their three-year campaign to foment contempt for Ukraine.

But while the White House’s statements on Epstein left pro-Trump conspiracy theorists reeling, it also signaled good news for the American public – and for the people of Ukraine.

To understand, let’s return to the early days of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

How the Woke Right connected their dots

By the end of 2023, Ukraine was losing the information war in America, thanks in large part to the vast influence of a network of podcasters who capitalized on the dissatisfaction of half the American population with their perception of corruption, incompetence, and “the woke, tyrannical agenda of the Biden administration,” as the podcasters characterized it.

Collectively, these online influencers were described by critics as the “woke right” for employing rhetorical styles and tactics once associated with the political left – pushing themes of victimhood, conspiracy, and blaming America first – but applied to an isolationist and populist context.

Russian Hardliners Urge Putin to Quit US Talks

Nationalist commentators are demanding that the Kremlin abandon diplomacy with Washington after recent Ukrainian drone strikes deep inside Russia.

The villains in their stories were a web of elites – criminals controlling the reins of power and manipulating public policy for personal profit and power. Central to their fury was the war in Ukraine.

When the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began on Feb. 24, 2022, the world was in shock. Not these podcasters. Their brand required an explanation rooted in media manipulation and American corruption. Anything but the obvious – that Russia was invading a sovereign nation and committing war crimes against its people.

So their story evolved. What began for them as a “phony war staged for television” to profit the Biden crime family, merged into a heroic effort by Moscow to prevent the spread of dangerous bio-labs. Next, their claims morphed into a CIA-controlled proxy war in a distant nation utterly lacking in agency, of little interest to the United States, and submerged in corruption. In the final stage of their narrative, the aggressor was not Russia, but the military-industrial complex and the globalists who actually provoked the war to line their own pockets.

Epstein and Ukraine. Ukraine and Epstein.

It was their obsession. Mentioning one led to mentioning the other.

There were common threads.

First, the belief that the CIA (and Mossad and MI6) are the enforcers in a conspiracy of global elites to profit off war and manipulate economies for their personal gain.

Second, that the same elites participated in a pedophilia cabal organized and managed by Jeffrey Epstein.

Find the Epstein list, and you have the names. Prove the murder, and you expose the global conspiracy.

Releasing the Epstein files would prove to be the promised red pill to open the mind of the public – to see the real world: a dystopian America where corrupt elites traffic young women, undermine traditional values, and fight foreign wars like Ukraine for personal profit.

Everything tied together for them – Maidan was a CIA coup. Ukraine has no agency. The Russian invasion was an attempt to save Christian civilization. Ukraine leads the world in child sex trafficking for pedophiles like the globalists on the Epstein list.

And on and on – talking points generated by the Kremlin and nearly identical to the debunked QAnon conspiracy movement.

It became a test of Woke Right orthodoxy, summarized by Tucker Carlson himself: “You are being lied to about everything. Your money is stolen to fund wars [Ukraine] and hide crimes [Epstein]. And the media won’t talk about it.”

The hero of the story was meant to be Donald Trump, the one individual with the strength to expose the pedophile cabal of CIA profiteers and warmongers.

So they pushed to elect him as president based on three promises: First, end the border crisis. Second, no more US involvement in foreign wars. Third, expose all secret government documents pertaining to Epstein, JFK, etc. – anything that would prove a common pattern of CIA assassinations.

But things went sideways.

Their dream of vindication came crashing down on July 8, 2025, with a comprehensive rejection of the thesis by the White House.

No murder. No list.

That same day, the president rebuked them for their obsession: “Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years… Are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable… I mean, I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this… It just seems like a desecration.”

And with those words, the Woke Right imploded. It was like being slapped in the face and called an idiot by your father.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones sobbed on his broadcast. Laura Loomer called for the impeachment of Pam “Blondi.” Tucker Carlson joked that he may need to apologize to Epstein for falsely accusing him.

What is the truth?

Did Epstein have a client list of global leaders engaged in pedophilia and human trafficking? Was Epstein killed by the CIA, Mossad, MI6, or another secretive government agency as alleged by Carlson, Jones, and others?

The answers to these questions have become less important than the implications of the White House’s denial that they are true.

The leader of the MAGA movement has not only denied the validity of their claims but declared the subject an irrelevant distraction from real issues.

Henceforth, the president’s MAGA base will have to decide whether they believe Trump or Carlson.

Why this is good news for Ukraine and America

The idea that secret agencies caused a Ukrainian regime change in 2014, and that today Ukraine is not defending itself against Russia but acting as a proxy puppet for the same forces, entered the public mythology through Carlson and crew. Taking their cue from Russian talking points, they leveraged the Epstein controversy as part of a master conspiracy theory in which the American government has been the archvillain in global affairs, Russia is the defender of orthodoxy, and Ukraine, the CIA, and Mossad facilitate criminal activities – including pedophile rings.

The fact that the president has denied the existence of a “smoking gun,” denying them their thesis, has the following upsides:

  • Their influence over a pro-Kremlin narrative within the MAGA base has been challenged. Not all will connect the dots, but if the difference persists, followers of Trump will be forced to choose between the president and Tucker Carlson.
  • If the president is telling the truth, then Carlson and crew have been lying for seven years. What else have they lied about? Millions of listeners have been manipulated through fear-mongering and fact-twisting. They have wasted the world’s time constructing a unified conspiracy theory that casts an American Deep State as the central villain in global chaos – while pointing to a nothing-burger as their smoking gun.
  • If President Trump and his team are covering up an assassination and lying about an Epstein client list, they have a much bigger problem. Something far darker is at play. If Trump – their central figure – is covering for the same elites, it would undermine the moral foundation they claim distinguishes them from the Deep State. It also means that these podcasters have built their financial empires on a man who is the enemy they claim to oppose.

Either way, leading pro-Kremlin mouthpieces in the United States have been discredited. Their rift with the White House is on display. That’s good news for Ukraine, for the American public, and for all who still believe that one plus one equals two.
