Russia launched a missile strike on the city of Dnipro on Thursday, April 10, killing one person and injuring nearly a dozen others.
On April 11, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported via Telegram that the number of injured had increased to nine while on Thursday it was reported that eight were wounded.

He added that emergency services were only able to fully extinguish the large-scale fire caused by the strike on Friday morning.
According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (DSNS), the fire covered an area of 6,000 square meters. Photos from the scene showed widespread destruction.
“A total of 162 rescuers and 35 pieces of equipment were deployed to the site,” the DSNS said.
The strike targeted the Biosphere plant, a facility producing diapers, wipes, and other civilian products. Part of the company’s warehouse was destroyed in the attack, and a 42-year-old employee was killed.
President Volodymyr Zelensky responded by calling for increased pressure on Russia.
“Russia clearly ignores diplomacy, using its contacts with the world only for its own benefit, not to end the war,” Zelensky said. “We need pressure tactics - pressure on Russia to stop terror and war.”
In a separate attack on the evening of April 10, a Russian drone hit a residential building in the Zhytomyr region.
According to the DSNS, one person was killed and five others were injured, including a child born in 2011. All of the wounded were hospitalized.

The attack damaged at least five high-rise buildings, and a fire broke out in one of them. It has since been extinguished, and emergency crews continue to deal with the aftermath.
