As of July 11, Russia has lost 1,031,620 troops after launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022 – including 1,040 troops over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). 

Russian casualties in Ukraine surpassed one million on June 16.

The figures include all troops who are put out of action for some time due to deaths or injuries. 

Russian equipment losses in Ukraine so far

The General Staff, in its daily update, also listed Russia’s total recorded equipment losses as follows:

  • 22,979 armored fighting vehicles (including seven over the past day)
  • 54,732 vehicles and fuel tanks (including 76 over the past day)
  • 30,163 artillery systems (including 23 over the past day)
  • 45,003 drones (including 222 over the past day)
  • 11,013 tanks (including two over the past day)
  • 1,437 multiple launch rocket systems
  • 1,193 anti-aircraft systems
  • 421 airplanes
  • 340 helicopters
  • 28 ships and boats
  • one submarine

The General Staff said it recorded 214 clashes across the front on Thursday, July 10.
