Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR), in cooperation with the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, has released the seventh update to the “Kremlin Mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions platform – an international database exposing enablers of Russia’s war.
The latest update, announced on July 28, adds 16 new individuals accused of spreading pro-Kremlin disinformation, justifying the war against Ukraine, and supporting Russia’s military machine through propaganda and fundraising. The database now contains profiles of 136 figures involved in Russia’s information war.

The War&Sanctions database is an open-source tool designed to expose individuals and entities complicit in supporting the Kremlin’s aggression, and to assist international partners in identifying and isolating enablers of the war.
Among the newly listed are journalists from Kremlin-backed media, military correspondents, authors of fake “documentaries,” and administrators of hostile Telegram channels who play a key role in legitimizing Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and promoting war narratives.
Notable additions include:
- Olga Kiriy, a journalist for RT Documentary and the creator of propaganda films such as “Azovstal” (2022), “I Accuse Fascism” (2025), and “Ukraine’s Toxic War”.
- Sergey Georgiev, a war correspondent for RIA “Novosti Crimea,” recently appointed as the so-called “ombudsman” for the occupied Kherson region to help “simplify and accelerate integration” into Russia.
- Renat Shavlo (alias Georgy Medvedev), a longtime propagandist and war reporter who has justified Russia’s war on Ukraine since 2014. He runs the Telegram channel “Medvedev’s Notes” and authored the books “Mariupol: The Right to Truth” and “On the Military Road: Horlivka, Yasynuvata, Shebekino.”
- Pavel Kukushkin, a war correspondent embedded with the so-called “Pyatnashka” international brigade fighting as part of Russia’s armed forces. He manages the Telegram channel “Have You Been There?”
- The team behind the pro-war Telegram channel “Spetsnaz Archangel,” including Evgeniy Zhulidov, a serviceman in Russia’s 45th Airborne Special Forces Brigade, and his associates: Evgeniy Aleynik, Tatyana Aksenyonko, and Alesya Lyankevich.
“For every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people, there will be just retribution,” Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence added.
