Russian forces launched multiple overnight attacks across Ukraine on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 6-7, targeting Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, and Sumy regions with drones and guided bombs.

The strikes damaged residential buildings, schools, and infrastructure.

Zaporizhzhia

Early Friday morning, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia, breaking windows in apartment buildings and a kindergarten, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov.

“As a result of the Russian attack, windows were broken in residential buildings and a kindergarten in one of the city’s districts,” Fedorov wrote on Telegram.

The Air Force had earlier warned of a threat from guided aerial bombs (KAB) heading toward Zaporizhzhia.

“Utility workers have already begun eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” Fedorov later added.

Russia Turns to Sea Imports as Drone Strikes Trigger Fuel Shortages

Russia is preparing rare gasoline imports by sea to address growing fuel shortages caused by Ukrainian drone strikes on refineries and energy infrastructure. The disruptions have hit output, triggered regional shortages, and forced Moscow to restrict exports while seeking limited supply from neighboring countries.

Elsewhere in the Kharkiv region, Russia attacked three other communities:

  • Vilhuvatska: A UAV hit the roof of a four-story residential building, damaging 20 apartments and a neighboring house.
  • Velykoburlutska: A private home caught fire over an area of about 100 sq. meters.
  • Shevchenkivska: A fire broke out at an agricultural enterprise.

Rescuers extinguished all fires, and no casualties were reported.

Odesa, Dnipro, and Sumy

In Odesa, Russian attack drones caused fires at infrastructure sites overnight. Buildings and a warehouse were damaged, but there were no injuries or deaths.

Dnipro was also targeted on Thursday evening. A drone attack damaged a four-story building, wounding six people. Three remain hospitalized in moderate condition and are receiving medical care.
