Russian forces launched waves of drone, missile, and artillery attacks across Ukraine Saturday into Sunday, killing four civilians and injuring dozens, Ukrainian officials said. The country’s Air Defense Forces intercepted most of the airborne attacks, destroying 139 of 176 drones launched at 14 locations.
The strikes targeted residential areas, energy facilities, and social infrastructure from Kherson in the south to Kharkiv and Sumy in the north east. Authorities reported fires, damage to homes and businesses, and large-scale evacuations in several frontline regions.

Kherson region
From 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, Russian forces shelled 31 settlements killing two civilians and injuring eight others, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported. Attacks struck critical, transport, and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas.
The Russians damaged seven multistory buildings, 39 private homes, a gas pipeline, a bus, garages, and vehicles, Prokudin said.
In Semenivka, a district employment center sustained broken windows, while a fire broke out in an unused building in the Korop community. Emergency services quickly contained the blaze. Authorities said 15 people were evacuated from liberated communities.
Donetsk region
Russian forces carried out nine attacks across the Donetsk region on Saturday, killing one person in Malynivka and injuring several others, regional governor Vadym Filashkin reported.
Russia Strikes Civilian Vehicles, Railways, and Homes, Killing One
The strikes damaged homes, administrative buildings, and vehicles in settlements including Malynivka, Sloviansk, Mykolaivka, Andriivka, Pavlivka, Kostiantynivka, and Zapovidne. Authorities evacuated 94 residents, including 17 children, from frontline areas.
Zaporizhzhia region
Russian troops carried out 769 strikes across 18 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over 24 hours, killing one civilian and wounding others, regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported.
The attacks included six air strikes, 480 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) – mostly first-person-view (FPV) drone attacks, five MLRS strikes, and 278 artillery strikes, hitting towns such as Malokaterynivka, Ternuvate, Primorske, Huliaipole, Komyshuvakha, Bilenke, and Stepnogorsk.
Sumy region
In the Sumy region, an 86-year-old woman was injured, and over a dozen homes and other buildings were damaged during more than 220 Russian shelling attacks across 15 settlements, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov said.
Odesa region
Russian drones attacked energy facilities in southern Odesa region overnight, including a solar power plant, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, said in a Telegram post.
Fires broke out at the sites but were quickly extinguished by the State Emergency Service, and there were no casualties. Some areas switched to backup generator power, and authorities opened “Points of Invincibility” shelters to support residents.
Kharkiv region
Russian forces struck five settlements, injuring a 61-year-old man in Katerynivka, in the Velykoburlutska community, regional governor Oleh Syniehubov reported.
The attacks included one cruise missile and 33 drones, including 15 Geran-2 UAVs. Civilian infrastructure suffered damage: five private homes and three outbuildings in Katerynivka, power lines in Lymanivka, and an abandoned laboratory and a recreational base in Staryi Saltiv and Malynivka.
A transit evacuation point in Lozova received 178 people. Since opening, the point has registered 12,414 evacuees. Ukrainian forces reported 176 combat encounters across the region, repelling assaults near Vovchansk, Dvorichne, Bohuslavka, Kupiansk, Pishchane, and Novoplatonivka.
Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian forces attacked three districts, causing property damage and injuring one man, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Vladyslav Haivanenko reported on Telegram.
In Synelnykove district, drones struck Vasylkivska community, destroying one private home and damaging four others, along with vehicles, garages, and outbuildings. Fires damaged infrastructure. In Pavlohrad, a 51-year-old man was injured, and in Nikopol district, artillery and FPV drones hit Nikopol and Marganetska communities, damaging a school and a residence. Ukrainian defenders reportedly shot down 10 enemy drones over the region.
Chernihiv region
Russian drones struck infrastructure facilities in Nizhyn district, damaging buildings but causing no casualties, according to a State Emergency Service statement on Telegram.
