US envoy Steve Witkoff on Monday held a new meeting with Ukrainian negotiator Rustem Umerov, the country’s security council secretary, in Florida, senior sources familiar with the matter told AFP.
“Umerov and Witkoff are meeting now again,” the sources said, adding that “there are still questions” on a US-led plan aimed at ending to the war in Ukraine.

The sources said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “expects to see Umerov in Ireland” during a visit on Tuesday to hear a detailed report about the meeting with US President Donald Trump’s envoy.
