Ukraine’s military said it struck Russian air defense systems, missile units and logistics facilities in the early hours of Tuesday, March 17.

The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces said in a Telegram update that Ukrainian forces targeted key military assets as part of efforts to reduce Russia’s offensive capabilities.

According to the statement, a Tor-M2U air defense system was hit near Klintsy in Russia’s Bryansk region.

Ukrainian forces also struck an area where a Bastion coastal missile system unit of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet was concentrated near Verkhnokurhanne in occupied Crimea, the General Staff said.

A Russian communications hub was also hit near Manhush in the occupied Donetsk region, according to the statement.

Logistics, drone infrastructure targeted

Ukraine also targeted several logistics facilities, including a fuel depot in Melitopol and ammunition depots near Stepne and Terpinnia in the occupied Zaporizhzhia region, the General Staff said.

A drone training center was also struck near Henicheska Hirka in the occupied Kherson region.

Ukrainian forces additionally targeted Russian drone command posts near Hulyaipole and Obratne in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as a troop concentration area near Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
